Basingstoke – Senior Buyer - £30-36k
This company design and manufacture geotechnical instruments and software.
Main Duties:
+ Build, develop and manager relationships with key suppliers
+ Find and introduce new suppliers using the agreed ‘on boarding’ process
+ Participate in the development and implementation of purchasing strategies for products
+ Ensure stock levels are efficiently maintained
+ Complete audits, monthly supplier reviews and Vendor scorecards for key suppliers
Required Skills/Experience:
+ Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills
+ Ability to build strong commercial relationships with suppliers
+ Knowledge of procurement best practice and continuous improvement principles
+ Proficient in the use of Microsoft office
Salary:
+ £30-36k, Dependent on experience
