Salary: Grade 6, £23,080 - £25,991 per annum.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Senior Business Support Officer to join the Integrated Front Door (IFD) in children’s and young people’s services. Applications are welcomed from experienced Business Support Officers.

Your role:

Responsible for the day-to-day management and co-ordination of all administrative functions of the IFD leading on training and development to ensure that the IFD delivers its priority activities.

Contribute to an annual team plan, which is aligned to the strategic and developmental needs of the service.

Co-ordinate a team that provides excellent business standards, in partnership with non-statutory, statutory, voluntary and independent sector organisations.

Participate in and ensure that the team is achieving performance targets and outcomes.

Interact with partners, both internally and externally, representing and championing the Service to develop new relationships, secure collaborative working and deliver shared objectives.

Ensure and apply organisational policy, procedure, regulatory and legislative framework and statutory duties.

Support the Service Lead and Service Manager to ensure that the vision of the service area is enabled by robust business support arrangements and contributes towards service improvements.

Work with the Service Lead and Service Manager to develop an effective performance framework, produce data as required which supports the understanding and development of the Service.

About you:

You will be an enthusiastic and committed business support officer, capable of building professional relationships. You will be an excellent communicator who understands the value and importance of integrated working with partner agencies and the community. You’ll be efficient in time management, business support skills and a strong team player who is used to working in a person-centred way.

You will have a holistic approach to work with a keen focus on reducing inequalities and supporting individuals. You’ll have a positive outlook with a caring and compassionate disposition, be a good listener and a great problem solver.

The IFD is the first point of contact for professionals and members of the public to report concerns for a child.

The IFD is a multi-agency team currently represented by partners from Police and Health, Early Help and Children’s Social Care. You will need to work effectively with colleagues across the partnership as this continues to develop.
