Role

Overview:

This role is within the Cyber Energia division of CF Partners, a portfolio company offering a comprehensive range of Cyber Security managed services in the Energy and Renewables sector.

As the first Senior Business Development Manager, you will be crucial in growing our Cyber Security managed services within the Energy and Renewables industry. Your responsibilities will include identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, cultivating strategic partnerships, and building solid relationships with key stakeholders. Your objective will be to establish Cyber Energia as the trusted and leading provider of Cyber security solutions while driving revenue growth.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive sales growth within the energy and renewables sector.

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including prospecting, lead generation, and qualification of potential clients.

• Lead the end-to-end sales process, including contract negotiations and closing deals.

• Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs consistently.

• Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive intelligence to inform sales strategy.

• Provide accurate and timely sales forecasting, reporting and pipeline management.

• Update and Utilise CRM to provide visibility and information on progress.

• Collaborate with marketing to develop and implement targeted campaigns and sales materials.

• Identify and attend industry events to act as an Ambassador for Cyber Energia.

Experience:

• 3-5+ years of proven track record of success in business development, sales, or account management within the Cyber Security industry.

• Strong understanding of Managed Services and a solid background in selling complex technical solutions. • Ability to manage and navigate multiple stakeholders whilst closing six-figure deals.

• Experience selling Cyber solutions into the Energy and Renewables sector is desirable but optional; more importantly, selling Cyber managed services is a requirement.

• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

• Self-motivated and results-driven, proven to meet and exceed sales targets.

• Experience within a startup/scaleup environment
