Rate: £500 – 575pd inside IR35

Location: 2-3 days pw onsite in Corsham

We require an experienced Business Analyst to join a Defence Portfolio transitioning from an outsourced to an in-house service management function. The individual will take responsibility for capturing, documenting, and maintaining the Portfolio requirements.

You will lead small to medium-sized projects and may also be part of a team of analysts on larger, more complex projects, leading on specific epics/high-level requirements. You will make sure outcomes are aligned with the service vision and business strategy by connecting the current and future business models and delivering towards achieving the business architecture strategy. You will also be involved in supporting and informing product iteration, evolution and optimisation.

Required Experience

• Excellent knowledge of requirements gathering processes and proven analytical and problem-solving techniques.
• Excellent, written, verbal and interpersonal skills
• Experience in managing relationships between external partners and business stakeholders
• Exposure to a variety of development methodologies and techniques, both Waterfall and Agile
• The role holder is expected to act with minimum supervision and to deliver to schedule whilst balancing multiple priorities
• Ability to focus on individual tasks but with the confidence to ask for help when required.
• Excellent organisation and time management skills
• Familiarity with IT networks and service management
