Senior Business Analyst

Due to a recent internal promotion we have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst to join us at an exciting period of change within the Government Services Segment.

In this forward thinking and impactful role you will be responsible for scoping, building and maintaining advance analytical models within a digital platform to enable the business to effectively identify and deliver enhanced operational performance.

You will be focused on the technical aspects of the role but also on continuous improvement and making a positive influence on business decisions.

Role Responsibility

• To scope, build and maintain advance analytical models within a digital platform to enable the business to effectively identify and deliver enhanced operational performance
• Act as a business partner to Marketing, Finance and Operational Functions, to identify and deliver efficiencies and maximise opportunities
• Leverage the digitalisation of the business systems and functions and provide leadership and insight management of the financial reporting platforms associated with new business systems
• Deliver standard monthly financial management reporting and key performance indicators.
• Utilising analytics to partner finance and operations managers to identify and embed performance improving activities
• Data Engineering – continue the development and management of analytical database architecture
• Lead the digitalisation of company systems and initiatives. Bring meaning and understanding to the data and influence improved business performance
• Analyse and identify financial or commercial trends and provide insight in order to improve performance

The Ideal Candidate

• Individual Experienced in the building, deployment and maintenance of a digital analytical reporting suite
• Expert in Power BI and Microsoft Excel
• Ideally a finance or statistical qualification / experience
• Ability to influence decision making within a business and improving performance with substantial profit impact.
• Work quickly and autonomously towards a plan but have the skills to re-prioritise if needed.
• Can demonstrate an ability to build relationships at all levels across an organisation
• Collaborative approach willing to take initiative and be curious around what we do.

Package Description

Salary is up to £60,000 depending on experience, company bonus, car allowance and flexible benefits fund.

You will be based from home with some travel when needed and flexibility around start and finish times.
