Job Title: Bid/Proposal Manager (Inside IR35)

EVONA Space recruitment are seeking an experienced Bid/Proposal Manager to join our clients Chelmsford based UK team for an initial 12-month contract. The role will be focused on managing bids and proposals for our growing workload within a team of 10 Project Managers.

The successful candidate must be willing to work a minimum of 3 days onsite and be comfortable coordinating and pulling together the right people to achieve successful proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing high volumes of bids and proposals from conception to completion
  • Building proposals and documents
  • Coordinating with team members and other departments
  • Communicating with stakeholders at all levels
  • Identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Exposure to bigger space companies and proposal led projects,
  • Experience with ESA projects, or large defence industry projects/proposals would be favourable,
  • Ability to hit the ground running, (essential requirement),
  • Proven ability to successfully manage and coordinate large proposals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
