Job Description

You will work with a vibrant team of individuals with a diverse skillset who are passionate about delivering an excellent level of service to our clients.

The key responsibilities of the role are:

Preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies from initial stages to review and finalisation;

Preparing and finalising self-assessment and corporation tax returns;

Preparing interim management accounts for clients;

Reviewing work prepared by junior members of staff;

Liaising with clients and team members on a variety of accountancy and commercial aspects;

Performing ad-hoc tasks to meet the needs of our clients.

Skills

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following essential skills:

Minimum of 3 years experience working within a private practice environment;

Experience preparing accounts and tax returns for sole traders, partnership and limited companies;

A track record of successfully managing a client portfolio, delivering excellent standards of service to meet client needs;

Part/Full ACA/ACCA qualification;

Qualified AAT with the right experience will be considered;

Comfortable working independently and as part of a team;

Experience managing junior staff members is not essential, but an added bonus;

And eye for detail and the ability to think outside the box in finding solutions for client issues;

Knowledge of Xero and TaxCalc favourable. Knowledge of Excel a must.
