We are delighted to continue our partnership with a highly successful, international organisation based in Paisley, as they seek a new Senior Accountant to lead their finance team.

You will be joining an innovative and market-leading print manufacturing organisation, with a history spanning in excess of a century. Internationally known, you will be part of a talented and supportive work environment in their Paisley office.

Your responsibilities in your new role

The role of Senior Accountant has significant importance and numerous responsibilities, including (but not limited to):

• Production of monthly management accounts for two different businesses to extremely tight deadlines, using SAP R3
• Collation of subsidiary company accounts (UK and Ireland) and submission to group head office
• Reconciliation of management accounts to the general ledger, managing accruals and prepayments
• Treasury Management to group policies and reconciliation of numerous bank accounts and to be a signatory
• Management of a team of 5 people based in Paisley
• Management of company payroll, insurances, pension and related matters
• To be the point of contact to support the management of each business in all matters financial, legal, property and company secretarial
• Ensure that all companies house accounting filing dates and reporting requirements are met and adhered to, as well as management of audit requirements, production and filing of statutory accounts.

Your personality, experience and qualifications

To be considered for this fantastic opportunity, you must be a fully qualified accountant (ICAS or ACCA), with experience in a similar level Accountant or Finance Manager role. SAP system experience is also absolutely essential.

A background in a manufacturing business and/or international group is desirable, but not essential.

As an individual, you should have the ability to adhere to deadlines and adopt a challenging approach to deliver robust, accurate financial data and information to meet business needs. You must also have excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to manage the finance function for a business from afar.

You will be primarily based in the Paisley office, but on occasions, you need to be available to travel to other business locations in the UK to (North East England, West Midlands), so ideally you will have a driving licence.
