Leisure PR & Communications is looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic, confident and talented Senior PR Account Manager with event experience, to join our expanding team and assist in the development of our growing client base.

The successful candidate will be adept with working in a team and play a hands-on role across all clients

The Senior PR Account Manager is a key member of the team, managing and working on a portfolio of clients whist supporting and mentoring our team members to perform to the best of their ability. You will oversee day-to-day activity on your accounts and have the responsibility to pro-actively manage activity and media requirements.

As a PR Account Director you will:

  • Have the ability to work on your own initiative and take charge of clients requirements
  • Forge strong and productive client relationships
  • Manage workloads effectively across multiple projects and ensure all work is completed in a timely manner and on-budget
  • Provide strategic counsel and insight to shape clients’ communications programme
  • Be involved in new business development, leading on team brainstorms, creation of PR proposals and new business pitches
  • Have experience of managing and formulating budgets.

Skills required include:

  • A minimum of 5-6 years agency experience in PR in either an agency and/or in house role
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • First class writing skills
  • Outstanding people management skills and track record of effective team working
  • Excellent communications skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Strong IT skills
  • Experience within the pub, bar, food, drink and leisure sectors is an advantage.

Leisure PR and Communications is a leading agency in the hospitality sector. The role is based in Richmond, Surrey (District, SouthWestern Trains and Overground). The candidate will be required to travel to client locations as necessary.
