About Our Client
The client we are working with is a market leader in the manufacturing and supplying of a wide range of products to national labourers, stockists and contractors. Their products vary from mechanical, industrial, heating, plumbing and engineering supplies used by individual customers and large-scale contractors. The company are looking for someone to pivot their internal communication and sales accounts management operations in order to expand their initial key customer portfolio.
Job Description
Key responsibilities consist of:
- Developing trust relationships with a portfolio of major clients
- Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements
- Building and maintaining relationships with key clients
- Managing multiple contracts and agreements
- Collaborating with internal teams to meet client requirements
- Identifying opportunities for revenue growth and up selling
- Developing account strategies and sales plans
- Reporting on key account performance and metrics
- Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust
- Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships
- Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will consist of someone who has experience in:
- Proven experience as a previous key account manager
- Experience in a sales environment
- Background systems knowledge and ability to adapt to several CRM systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building relationships with professionals of all levels
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability in problem-solving and product negotiation
- Key interest of background in manufacturing, tradesman or construction industries
