SEND - Specialist Inclusion Assistant

Required for 1st September 2021

Part-time hours, negotiable up to 30 hours per week, Fixed Term Contract until 31st August 2022

Term Time Only (including Inset days), Subject to external funding

We are looking to recruit outstanding staff to join our dedicated Student Support Team.

Successful candidates will work closely with the Student Support Team and other staff to ensure students with Special Educational Needs/Disabilities achieve positive outcomes. Candidates will demonstrate enthusiasm, flair and commitment, championing students to make good progress and feel included. Working in and outside of the classroom, they will use their particular interests and skill set to increase the opportunities on offer to students with SEND.

We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience of working with children with vision impairment, autism, literacy difficulties or have experience of working in alternative provision settings, but will welcome applications from anyone with the enthusiasm to a make a difference to the lives of children and young people.

Graduates looking for school experience prior to PGCE courses are welcome to apply as full training will be given.
