We are currently working in partnership with a fantastic, Ofsted rated ‘Good’ school in Blurton, where the needs of the children are number one priority. The school was established back in 2015, which was a custom built building to cater for a variety of additional needs, in one place. The current intake is from 4-19 years old, therefore the pupils educational process, will commence from the very beginning through to their older years of education, so it is paramount that their journey is the most impacting and beneficial it can be. The school is very welcoming and wholesome, where there is a nurturing culture throughout the school and they pride themselves in promoting minimal behavioural issues.

The ideal SEND Educational Support Worker will have the following attributes:

  • To build strong, long-lasting relationships with young people
  • Can communicate effectively and efficiently with young pupils
  • To be resilient and patient in their approach
  • To have the ability to deliver personal care where needed
  • Delivering effective curriculums that fit the needs of the students you are working with and the ability to adapt learning plans for individuals where necessary
  • The ability to read body language and moods
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable for the needs within the school
  • To assist with child development plans
  • Able to promote and encourage independence where possible
  • Capability to promote the development of positive social behaviours and self-regulation skills

All candidates who register with Simply Education will have 2 years referencing taken up and will be required to have an enhanced DBS check completed. All offers are conditional upon satisfactory background checks.
