SEN Teaching Assistant
Peterlee, Sunderland

£60.00 - £70.00 per day
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.

We are seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to work in a primary school in Peterlee, Sunderland. The role will include supporting the class teacher to deliver work in accordance with the national curriculum, supporting the class teacher to manage behaviour, supporting a pupil in year 3 with SEN on a one-to-one basis, contributing to record keeping, liaising with parents and multidisciplinary teams and attending school trips/outings

Requirements

To be considered for the role of SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:

Be able to work as part of a team and be confident dealing with occasional behavioural challenges.
Be patient, engaging, inspiring, creative, consistent, and calm when under pressure.
