DegreeSix are a SEND specialist agency that are working with a large SEND school in Rushden that are seeking a number of Learning support assistants to join them for September.

This is a school that has a very popular reputation within the community for its excellent new facilities. There is a large number of pupils with various different needs such as Autism, Emotional behaviour and complex needs so its important you have the right experience.

In these positions you will be required to work with children with SEN either 1:1 or in small groups throughout the day. You will also be assisting the teacher throughout the day along with playground duties at times. It would be ideal if you possess Team Teach but it’s not essential for the position.

If you have experience working with ASD, EBD Speech and Language, ADHD, Behavioural children then this could be the ideal opportunity for you.

You will be required to work Monday to Friday with the start time being 8.30am and finishing around 3.30pm.

Experience of working in a similar role
You will need have patients and resilience
Team Teach is desirable but not essential
Driving is not essential but is desirable due to location
DBS (online) or be willing to obtain one
