Prospero Teaching are working in partnership with an independent SEMH/Complex Needs School that is recruiting for experienced and qualified Teachers - To teach children identified as having Social, Emotional and Mental Health issues and Complex Needs (SEMH, SEBD, BESD, EBD,ASD,ADHD) Down syndrome and Mild to Severe Autism

They are taking applications from NQT/ECTs as they provide a great training programme to help start new teachers careers.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
  • Location - Frome (BA11)
  • Type of work - Classroom Teacher - SEMH & SEND
  • Contract or position start date - ASAP
  • Duration / Likely Duration - Full academic Year
  • Contract or position end date (if applicable) - Ongoing
  • Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) - Temporary - Permanent
  • Full time/part time - Full time
  • Minimum rate of pay - £80-90 per day
  • Hours - 8:30 am - 3.30pm : Mon - Fri (term time only)
Experience, Training And Qualifications
  • QTS
  • Experience working in an SEMH, PRU, or Mainstream inclusion
  • You will also need to be very resilient and capable of dealing with challenging behaviour
  • Team Teach trained is also desirable
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PR`OSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
