SEN Teacher


Location: Walsall

Duration: Full time, January onwards

Salary: M1 – M6 pay scale


The School/role:

The school we are working with are seeking a strong candidate to work with them from January in a teaching capacity.

The school caters for pupils at the primary level with challenging SEMH and SEBD needs at KS1/KS2. You must have a prior background in teaching at this level in a similar SEN/PRU setting in order to be considered for this role. The school are ideally looking for someone who can cover the primary curriculum.

Additional training such as ‘Team Teach’ would be beneficial.

A new enhanced DBS will be needed for this role or a subscription to the DBS update service.


Requirements:

  • SEND Teaching Assistant Experience
  • QTS – Qualified Teacher Status
  • SEMH, SEBD, ADHD experience
  • ‘Team Teach’ Trained
  • Available full time
  • Level 1 safeguarding certificate
  • Recent school-based references
  • Valid Photo ID – Driving Licence or passport
  • Enhanced DBS – on the update service
