A SEN Learning Support Assistant is needed for a September start in a lovely SEN College for Autistic children in the Sunderland and Newcastle. This is for a one year role but may go permanent. We are looking for candidates with experience of working in an education setting and the interest to work with 16 - 25 year old learners.

Ideally you will have experience of working with SEN pupils but this is not essential, just the willingness and interest to learn. Activities include assisting one to one or in small groups with lessons and it helps that your Maths, ICT and English are strong so you can support these activities. There are also living skills training such as travel training you will support groups with as they go out on trips. You will have or be prepared to obtain a DBS check and we will need to carry out our vetting checks in a face to face interview at our Sunderland office. In addition, we will need to take up at least two references. Premier Teachers Ltd is a teacher run agency based in Sunderland.
