SEN 1-1 Teaching Assistant - Wigan

Are you a SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a new challenge within Wigan?

We are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to work full time within a year 1 class in a primary school in Wigan. This role is working 8.30-3.30 with a 30-minute lunch Monday to Friday. This role is to start ASAP working full time on an ongoing basis. Daily rates of pay £72-82.

This primary school in Wigan is recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant who will be responsible for working 1:1 in the mornings and supporting with group work and whole class support in the afternoons working with the class teacher and SENCO. You will also be required to provide consistency and stability within a daily routine, whiles also working to involve the children within class in the wider provision and learning environment. This Primary School is within Wigan and is accessible via public transport.

Essential requirements:

  • Experience working as a Teaching Assistant
  • SEN experience
  • A secure knowledge of supporting teachers to deliver the National Curriculum in KS1
  • All work with Tradewind requires a DBS on the update service and collection of at least two verified references
  • An up-to-date CV with a 10-year career history
  • Legal Right to Work in the UK
