Semi Senior Accountant
Rotherham, UK
£18,000 to £22,000 per annum


A fast paced, forward-thinking Practice based in Rotherham are looking for a Semi-Senior Accountant team member to progress and develop. This is an opportunity to join an innovative, forward-thinking, trendy company, with expertise in many areas. They are an expanding practice who will provide study support/package as part of any job offer to the right candidate.
Responsibilities of the role:
" Assisting with the management of a portfolio of clients.
" Preparation of annual accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
" VAT returns.
" Corporation tax returns.
" Personal tax returns.
" Partnership tax returns.
" Production of management accounts.
" Client bookkeeping.

Skills and experience:
Essential -
" You must have at least 2-3 years working in an accountancy practice environment.
" Experience using the following software packages: Sage, Xero, Quickbooks, IRIS
" Studying towards AAT/ACA/ACCA.
Desirable -
" Company secretarial duties.
" Preparation of P11ds.
" Payroll experience.
