Role: SEMH Teaching Assistant Location: Sunderland Salary: Up to £75 per day Start Date: June/September 2021 Are you a recent graduate with a strong interest in Special Education Needs? Are you looking for a new position where you can assist students with severe learning disabilities? GSL Education is currently looking for a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant for an excellent secondary school in Sunderland. The school is looking for someone to work in their SEN unit, assisting students with SEMH.

The successful candidates will: Have experience of working with children with SEN, particularly Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH). The ability to use initiative and work well under pressure. The ability to communicate effectively with the children and other staff members. Assist students in their learning both on a 1-1 and group basis.
