Security Supervisor

As a Security Supervisor at G4S, you’ll ensure the safety of our customers’ staff, their buildings and assets, whilst providing excellent customer service with a smile. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent customer service in a safe and secure environment.

It’s a varied role that includes assuming responsibility for and supervising the on duty shift, carrying out security briefings with staff, and providing a security handover when relieved of duty by the oncoming Shift Supervisor. Ensuring that incidents are properly addressed, recorded and reported, and that all duty rosters are kept up to date and completed in a timely manner, operating access control, CCTV, fire alarm and lift systems, reporting any faults to the relevant department. The Ideal Candidate

Due to licensing requirements, you must be over 18 to apply for this position. You will be a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times. Good IT knowledge is also key. You will be required to work on a ‘2 days 2 nights, 4 off’ shift pattern that will include a mixture of days, nights and weekends. You will also be required to work 2 extra mandatory overtime shifts per month.

It is an essential requirement to have security supervisory experience and an SIA Door Supervisor Licence. An SIA CCTV Licence is preferred.
