Ward Security is looking for a committed Security Officer to become a valuable member of our team based at 14 St George Street, London.

As a Security Officer you are responsible for protecting premises, assets and personnel as well as maintaining a secure and safe environment for visitors, staff, and contractors. You require to maintain a highly visible presence at all times and prevent any illegal or inappropriate actions. In addition to playing an active role in incident response as instructed by the DSM’s. Your goal is to detect, deter, protect, observe, and report.

Position: Security Officer

Pay rate: £12.45

Shift Pattern: 180- rotating shift schedule- 24/7 coverage

Location: 14 St George Street W1S 1FH

Must Have:

· Valid SIA licence

· Proven work experience as a Security Officer -min 1 year

· Excellent customer service and communication skills

· Basic IT Skills

· High standard of personal presentation

Main Responsibilities

· Ensure all instructions, both written and verbal are adhered to.

· Always conduct yourself in a professional manner

· Conduct foot patrols within defined areas as an effective deterrent in the protection of the client’s property and assets.

· Act as a point of contact and information centre to staff and visitors.

· Investigate and take the appropriate lawfully action as authorised by the corporate policy on accidents, incidents, trespassing, suspicious activities, safety, and fire incidents.

· Guard access points, permitting or refusing entry, restraining trespassers, and direct heavy traffic during start and end of business hours.

· Complete daily reports, including relevant information, observations, surveillance footage, and signatures.
