The Role -Security Officer – Maternity Cover

AM Services Group is looking for an experienced, hardworking, and enthusiastic Security Officer to join our security team at the Head Office in Washington off the A1231

This is a Full-Time FIXED TERM Role 42 hours per week, the suitable person would work night shift - 4 on 4 off - 12hr shifts from 6pm to 6am - with the option of overtime available to cover sickness and annual leave

Duties/Key Responsibilities

To provide professional security services to our client, maintaining the security and safety of their premises and people by ways of monitoring, patrolling and surveying the building and their assets.

• Meet and greet visitors, staff and contractors and support the gatehouse environment.
• Complete daily security tasks, including the use of client software and security CCTV systems
• Take accurate notes to complete reports, logbook entries and all relevant paperwork to a high standard - including reporting in detail any incidents occurring whilst on duty
• Conduct searches within the guidelines of company procedures.
• Carry out routine patrols around the site
• Operating telephone switchboard
• Locking and unlocking premises
• Provide a professional service to the client.
• Liaison with local authorities including police, emergency healthcare services or even fire extinguishers in case of an emergency

Skills Required

• Valid SIA Front Line Licence
• Valid UK driving licence
• CCTV experience but not essential
• You will need to evidence your honesty, reliability and always maintain a sense of pride in your professionalism in delivering excellent customer service.
• Full 5-year checkable work history
