Corporate Services Group, Estates Security Department.
Open-ended Contract, 35 hours per week, covering 24 hour shift pattern, 365 days per annum .
Grade 3 (£18,529 to £20,092 per annum plus 30% shift allowance)
The Opportunity:
We are looking for exceptional people to join our Security team in providing a first class security service across our University’s campuses.
The University has a first class security service that provides confidence, safety, reassurance and well-being to the university community and protects the fabric of university buildings from damage by fire, flood, criminal activity and any other emerging or identified risk. The successful candidate(s) will be the first point of contact when a problem or incident occurs, liaising with emergency services when necessary.
Your skills and attributes for success:
- Good communicator, both verbal and written
- Able to remain calm under pressure
- Honest and trustworthy
- Good listener
- Full driving licence essential
- Ideally, experience of dealing with the general public
