Location: Concourse Shopping Centre, Southway Skelmersdale – WN8 6LN

Role Purpose:
To protect our client’s premises from criminal activity and to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all those within by protecting them from verbal and physical abuse.

Role Requirements:
We seek to fill this post at the earliest opportunity
An hourly rate of £9.01 per hour
Paid monthly 07th
Working hours, averaging 48 hours
Working day shifts, includes weekends, sickness, Holidays
Full time position
Signing in vehicles and assisting contractors on site.
Completing mall patrols.
Help and assist with public enquiries
Completing a daily Handover for the Night shift.
Our Security Officers are required to comply with the ‘Assignment Instructions’ to provide a safe and secure environment. They must show a high visibility security presence, but also have a warm friendly welcoming manner to all who attend the site.
The successful candidate will join the team at this site to ensure we provide the full security needed 24 hours per day across all days of the week required.
They will be expected to undertake a collection of security duties, uniform and relevant training will be provided.
Essential skills required
  • Be smart and well presented at all times
  • Have an SIA DS and CCTV licence
  • Be polite, helpful and diligent, with a ‘can do’ ethos
  • Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with the use of smart phones for report writing
  • Be able to provide the highest standard in customer service
  • Be flexible and reliable to meet the role requirements
  • Have a calm personality capable of controlling difficult situations
  • Be able to work without supervision and as a member of a team
  • Have a full five-year checkable work history and required documentation to be vetted
Desirable skills required

  • Have effective communication skills
  • First Aid Trained
  • Have previous experience in the security industry
  • Previous Fire Panel usage
