JOB TITLE: Security Officer

LOCATION: Yate Shopping Centre

Shifts: 2 days 2 nignts 4 days off

Pay Rate: £12.00 p/h

As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the security and safety of our clients’ premises. You will be responsible for ensuring the protection of property, assets, and people by monitoring surveillance systems, patrolling the premises, and responding to incidents in a timely and professional manner.

In addition to your security duties, you will also be required to provide exceptional customer service, assisting visitors and employees with inquiries and directions.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular patrols of the premises to maintain a visible presence
  • Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and contractors
  • Utilize surveillance systems to detect and prevent incidents
  • Respond to alarms and emergencies promptly and appropriately
  • Write detailed reports on incidents, accidents, and suspicious activities
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and employees with inquiries and directions
