Job description

Lexnis Group has an opening for a Full Time Security Officer in Cheltenham. You will be working days Monday to Friday 60hrs per week. Plus overtime for Holiday cover.

Hours 0600 - 1800

Duties included but not limited to;

  • Managing access control for employees, visitors and contractors
  • Patrolling the site on foot to deter and detect stock loss
  • Dealing professionally with incidents including positive searches
  • Responding to customer requests and queries
  • Maintaining records using computer- and paper-based systems

An SIA Door Supervision (DS) or Security Guarding (SG) license is required, and to succeed in this role you will also need:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
  • Experience in a customer-facing role, ideally in security
  • Five years’ checkable history and references
  • To pass a criminal records check (CRB) to the required standards

The following would also be useful, but are not essential:

  • Experience in a similar role

Full training, uniform, health and safety equipment (PPE), and free car-parking are provided.
