As a Security Officer for G4S, variety is guaranteed. We have exciting opportunities to join both our mobile and static teams across a range of sites in Edinburgh, with both full-time and part-time positions available.
You will earn up to £10.63 per hour with a range of sites and shift patterns available to suit your needs.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Whether you’ve worked in security before, or are brand new to the industry we welcome you to join our team. We know you’ll get off to a flying start with full SIA (Security Guarding) training provided to successful candidates.
A typical week could see you on a range of sites; ensuring the safety of our customers’ staff, their buildings and assets, whilst providing excellent customer service with a smile.
You’ll be responsible for a wide variety of duties including the management of visitor passes, liaising with customers, gatehouse duties, checking in contractors, reception duties, alarm calls and issuing passes visitor vehicle checks. Other elements of the role could include:
- Building relationships with employers and community organisations
- Greeting visitors and customers to site
- Scheduled patrols of customer premises
- Dealing with any security incidents on site and completing relevant incident report forms
