WORKING PATTERN:

  • Monday to Friday, 08:15-16:15.
  • 40 hours per week.
  • Overtime available.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Assisting the in-house security team.
  • Carrying out security checks on those entering the premises/site.
  • Controlling access & egress.
  • Managing visitors and contractors.
  • Patrolling the premises/site.
  • Providing a high level of customer service.
  • Providing site cover for planned & unexpected absences.
  • Responding to first aid, fire & emergency incidents.
  • Responding to security incidents & issues.
  • Working in a team.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • You have at least one year of security experience.
  • You are capable of dealing with a variety of situations and are very customer service-focused.
  • You are able to communicate clearly and effectively, attaining a good standard of verbal and written English.
  • You have good organisational and record-keeping skills.
  • You are IT literate and able to use Microsoft Office applications.
  • You are well-presented at all times.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • You must be able to provide a checkable 10-year employment and address history for vetting purposes (this can include full-time education or periods when claiming benefits).
  • You must be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check as this is essential to the role.

LICENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • You must have a current SIA Door Supervisor Licence for this role.
  • Possession of a First Aid at Work Certificate is desirable.
  • Possession of an Enhanced DBS is desirable.

JOB TYPE:Permanent, Full-Time Monday – Friday (will be required to attend days for training)

SALARY/BENEFITS:£9.50 per hour + up to 28 days paid holiday (accrued & pro-rata) including bank holidays.
