Security Guard

• Complete required safety inspections and initiate corrective actions (if appropriate) or alert PT/Team Manager/Zone Manager/Engineer, to immediate safety issues that become known through the monitoring of CCTV or patrol
• Provide a professional first point of contact to visitors and ensure all individuals visiting site understand the signing in process and on-site requirements through Sinica
• Register and log all vehicles arriving on site
• On a weekend, monitor and walk around the complex highlighting any areas of concern to the relevant department manager via the most relevant means possible, if an immediate risk to the business by phone if deemed low risk via email. Whilst patrolling ensure the perimeter of the site is intact
• Contact relevant contacts as and when visitors arrive on site if not registered on Sinica
• Distribute and manage all requests for keys, ensuring the signing in and signing out process is adhered to at all times
• During the event of a fire alarm take a pro-active approach in liaising with the fire Marshall / Fire Manager/Engineering Team to ascertain whether a false alarm. Follow first and second knock procedures as detailed in documents SP-0008 and SP-0023
• Ensure the completion of all security related documentation held within the gatehouse and to maintain a tidy working environment forming a working relationship with Colleagues through open and positive dialogue
