The role of Sector Safeguarding Lead will be part of the trust safeguarding team, working collaboratively across the trust to ensure that our statutory, regulatory, and mandatory frameworks and guidance relating to safeguarding are met. The role holder will have experience in and be a specialist for one of the following areas: children & young people, adults and education & training.You will be the subject matter expert, working to support the sector team with all aspects of safeguarding.Please note this vacancy is to work in the Mid & South Essex area.Applicants should live in a reasonable distance to the area as travel across the sector is expected.The post holder will work collaboratively across the safeguarding team and will work on shared workstreams across the safeguarding portfolio, along with holding responsibility for specific workstreams. The post holder will work to provide specialist support to staff, monitoring and reviewing referrals and responding to requests for information from internal/external partners.Great healthcare requires great people.
