Main Scope of Role:
Will lead Informatics projects and act as Project Manager and/or Business Analyst and Software Expert for the design and implementation of Informatics solutions, organizing, leading and facilitating multi-functional project teams
Will contribute to the technical maintenance and evolution of the Informatics scientific system landscape
Key Responsibilities or Core Accountabilities:
Serve as Project Manager and/or Validation Manager leading Informatics projects for the implementation of bespoke in-house developed solutions and/or COTS software products
Serve as Business Analyst understanding the requestor’s business needs and translating them into requirements for development teams
Responsible for providing detailed requirements and user stories definition and user acceptance facilitation
Awareness of structured approach to test planning and test execution. Assists in defining acceptance tests. Help with testing as required
Work closely with the developers and business representatives / application specialists, also from other Research Informatics support teams of Evotec Group
Develop and maintain system documentation and also participate in and/or conduct user training as required
Work in a pharmaceutical GxP regulated environment, in adherence to the internal Computer System Management Quality framework
Desirable:
Contribute to the technical maintenance and evolution of scientific system landscape acting as System Administrator for the system and/or as Software Expert for the implementation of data changes and code changes, etc
Knowledge, Skills & Capabilities:
Knowledge of Good Project Management Practices applied to Software Development and Life Science
Knowledge of Pharmaceutical Regulations / Quality standards applied to Computerized Systems ( FDA CFR 21 Part 11, GxP compliance, GAMP v5 )
Proficient in business system analysis, writing business processes, authoring business rules, and creating business and functional requirements
Experience in analysis, process and data flow mapping, architecture and system interface, design, development, testing, and implementation (full project life cycle) of various platforms and applications, including user interface, back-end database and external system integration
Excellent communication and influencing skills
Strong research and problem-solving skills
Excellent team working, written and verbal communication skills
Efficient reporting on different levels
Desirable:
Experience with Agile methodologies and with working with software developer
Education, Qualifications and Experience:
BSc or MSc in Life Sciences or Informatics
Project Management and Business Analyst direct experiences in implementing Informatics solutions
