Grade 5 from £27,979 - £32,982 per annum. Subject to annual pay award.


About the role


We are seeking two creative and enthusiastic School Marketing Officers to join our busy team to support the planning, delivery and monitoring of marketing campaigns and communication strategies for two schools – the School of Architecture, Building and Civil Engineering and the Wolfson School of Mechanical, Electrical and Manufacturing Engineering. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a creative, award-winning marketing team at a top 10 UK university.


Reporting into the School Marketing Manager and working closely with school colleagues, the postholders will support the operational delivery of the school marketing and communications plan spanning student recruitment (undergraduate and postgraduate), research and enterprise to enhance the University’s reputation as a high-quality first choice destination for engineering, both in the UK and overseas.


We are a small, proactive, and busy team looking for a motivated and resilient individual to contribute to the continued development of marketing content and the delivery of our campaign activities.


About you


Ideally, you should have experience in the planning, implementation and monitoring of marketing activity across a range of online and offline channels. You will be able to demonstrate a strong track record of achieving results from the successful application of a variety of content formats across a range of marketing channels such as web, social media, digital advertising, CRM communications and/or events.


Experience of the higher education sector is desirable as is an interest in advancing science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
