We are a long-established and growing IT-managed service provider and are urgently looking to recruit an onsite IT Support technician. Our core business includes installing, supporting and maintaining IT systems and networks for businesses and schools based around the Yorkshire region.

THE ROLE:

  • You will be joining a friendly and supportive team of 10 engineers and will provide first and second-line support on desktop, server and network infrastructure.
  • You will work with our school customers based around Doncaster and will be site based at specific sites based on a schedule. Whilst travelling between locations in the local area, your mileage will be paid.

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • A minimum of 2 years of previous experience in a similar IT role is essential
  • Excellent understanding of Windows 10/11
  • Working knowledge of Windows Server 2016, 2019 & 2021
  • Support users on MS Office 2016, 2019 & Office 365
  • Understanding of Active Directory
  • Experience in PC Imaging- Microsoft WDS & MDT
  • Installation and configuration of software. Experience with Hyper-V, Sophos, Smoothwall, Azure & Intune is also an advantage
  • Troubleshoot and resolve printing problems
  • Excellent communication with third-party providers and end-users
  • Find solutions to problems and have a hands-on approach to support activities
  • A positive outlook and a "can-do attitude"
  • An enhanced DBS disclosure is required for this post.

SALARY & BENEFITS

  • Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm, no weekends
  • 28 days holiday (including public holidays), after 5 years of service an additional one day will be accrued each year up a maximum of 38 (including public holidays).
