Your New Company

Hays Education works with schools across Wirral LA supporting them in the recruitment of support staff, including administrators, to work in school finance departments. We are currently working on clearing candidates who will be available for roles once schools reopen.

Prior experience of working with school systems including FMS, Corero, HCSS, and ParentPay is essential for these roles. If you are looking for a new setting to expand your skill set then I would love to hear from you.

Your new role
Working within the school administration team, you will specifically be responsible for all finance related administration including:
  • Processing invoices and orders
  • Taking in/ recording lunch and trip money
  • Chasing outstanding invoices/ payments
  • Managing petty cash
  • Supporting the business manager with tracking department budgets
  • Supporting with payroll administration as directed
  • Banking and reconciliation


Roles are term time only, and can vary between full and part time hours, so we will be able to offer you a role to suit your circumstances.

What You’ll Need To Succeed
  • Prior experience of working in schools with school finance systems is essential
  • Attention to detail when recording data
  • Proficiency with using MS office including Excel
  • You will be highly organised and able to prioritise your work load
  • You will have excellent communication skills
