Grade 8 Point 26-28 (£22,221 - £23,708) per annum pro rata

1 day per week or equivelant, 7.5 hours a week, within the hours of 8.30-4pm

Fixed term to 31st August 2022 in the first instance

Required to start 1st September 2021

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic person to join our Student Support team. Based at The Marches School in Oswestry we are recruiting a School Counsellor to provide specialist support to students and staff. This role will require a dedicated individual who wishes to contribute to the health and wellbeing of young people at the school.

Applicants will need to possess: BACP accreditation, United Kingdom Register of Counsellors (UKRC) registration or equivalent, excellent communication skills and have suitable personal insurance appropriate to the role. You will have some knowledge of school-based education and have good understanding of child development. An awareness of child protection, confidentiality, health and safety, and data protection is essential.

Interviews will be held on Thursday 15th July 2021.
