We are looking for an experienced BASIS and Environment Manager to join our SAP team!


The Role


This role will be responsible for the BASIS and Environment management of our global SAP estate. This includes day to day administration and troubleshooting of issues, as well as support for our business change programs. The role will also be responsible for ensuring the cost effective use of our SAP estate and the management of third parties involved in this. Ensuring our estate is up to date, secure, compliant and leading continuous improvement of the BASIS function will be key activities of this role.


About you

You will have deep technical expertise of SAP BASIS and have experience of managing environments.

You will be able to articulate your deep technical knowledge at both a technical and business level. You will not only keep up to date with SAP BASIS developments and practices, but also act as an advocate and champion these amongst our team and beyond.

You will have proven expertise of cost effectively managing an SAP environment and should be able to proactively manage our hosting spend. You will be passionate about ensuring our systems are up to date, secure and compliant. Demonstrated experience of implementing and delivering a strategy for the regular application of support packs is a must.

You will be a motivated and pro-active individual, able to be flexible and pragmatic when working concurrently on a number of initiatives.

Your will have demonstrable stakeholder engagement and management skills, coupled with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Furthermore, you will be able to demonstrate our organisation’s values – Innovation, Collaboration, Responsibility, and Empowerment, across your approach to work.

Experience working in education, publishing, manufacturing, or a digital product industry is desirable.
