Create Flavours has an exciting opportunity for a Sample Laboratory Technician to join our NPD team.
Location: Clevedon, North Somerset
Salary: £18,600 per annum

Sample Laboratory Technician – Key Responsibilities
  • Compounding of internal and external flavouring samples as required by the Senior Flavourists
  • Ensuring the Sample Despatch Technician receives the required samples with accompanying paperwork
  • Prioritising own workload to ensure high priority tasks are completed on time
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy compounding workstation and laboratory
  • Replenishing raw material stock for the Flavour laboratory when needed
  • Maintaining the sample library, ensuring flavourings have not expired and compounding fresh samples proactively when required
Sample Laboratory Technician – You

We are looking for a hardworking, bright individual who has a good eye for detail with the following qualities:
  • Ideally a relevant bachelor’s degree in Science or Food Technology but not essential
  • High accuracy needed especially when it comes to compounding
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work well within a team
  • Good computer literacy
  • A keen interest in food and drink
