A fabulous opportunity for a Sales Team Leader to join this rapidly growing Retail business as they further grow their footprint, both in B2B and B2C market, out of their head office in Leicestershire.

A leading retail business with an excellent reputation in the market. This is part of a consistently growing industry, which is set for further rapid growth in the next 3-5 years.

Description

As the Sales Team Leader/ Supervisor you will be managing a team of around 6-8 sales people with a remit of driving high performance and hiring in new talent to develop, and enhance the performance of, the team.

You will work alongside the Sales Manager and team in order to develop a strong sales strategy, a fun, friendly working environment with great opportunities for progression/ promotions. You will work high performing team members to develop them in their career, and assist the team during times of low performance to develop/ enhance their skills.

You will set and manage KPIs, as well as support with contract negotiations etc, particularly on larger business orders. You will be a comfortable salesperson who is happy to be on the phones contacting customers during peak periods and develop business to hit key targets throughout the year.

Profile

The ideal person for the Sales Team Leader role will:

  • Be a confident Salesperson who is happy to develop their own business, alongside the direct management of the team
  • Ideally, have some experience managing remote sales teams
  • Have some degree of management supervisory experience who is looking to work in a business with more opportunities for development
  • Have worked in a Call Centre and Customer Service function previously, encompassing sales via Live Chat, Inbound and Outbound calling
  • Live within the Leicestershire area and have a driving licence with access to own vehicle, due to the office location

Job Offer

£25,000 - £27,000 (D.O.E)

Monthly bonuses paid on KPI & revenue performance (£40,000 OTE)

Hybrid working model (2 days from the office, 3 days from home. Weekend shifts all covered from home)

1 in 4 weekend working (though looking to reduce to 1 in 6/ 1 in 8 in the long term)
