Role: Sales Support Planner Location: Shepshed,Leicestershire Vacancy Type: 12 Month Fixed Term We are currentlyworking with an international organisation that provides completeand innovative feed solutions for conventional and organiclivestock farming to recruit a Sales Support Planner to join theirfast-paced business. Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a "best inclass" approach to customer experience management.
  • Confirmingdeliveries with customers for existing contracts using thePre-Trading report. Updating notes on this report to provide fullvisibility for the Trading Team on potential sales gaps.
  • Updatecustomers with monthly price updates, update SAP with correctpricing and haulage rates.
  • Provide support and cover for otherProduction Planners during holiday periods and absence.
  • Supportfor Co-Product Trading team as agreed with the Trading manager(Offering repeat spot order, forward contracts, pitting) etc
  • Responsibility for Sales Planning the Trading board. Whilstconfirming you should actively try to manage trading gaps to allowthe trading time the maximum time to complete sales.
  • Salesorder/Purchase order entry to support Production Planners asrequired.
  • Own all elements of Customer service with ourcustomers. This will include complaints, eta enquiries, deliverydate enquiries, requests updates and pricing queries.
  • InformingTraders of opportunities and competitor information.
  • Taking andmanaging incoming customer service calls.
  • Update the tradingboard as customer confirmations are completed to provide sales gapinformation.
  • Blocked order management.
  • To develop and maintainthe input of information into C4C database system regarding allcustomer interactions. Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • A level or equivalent. Preferred Skills
  • 3 years’ experience in acustomer service/planning team environment. In depth knowledge andunderstanding of the agricultural animal feed industryadvantageous.
  • Ability to recognize strategic planningopportunities and the way in which to take best advantage.
  • Confident interpersonal and social skills with the ability to buildrelationships with people at all levels of business via thetelephone or face to face.
  • Strong communication and listeningskills.
  • Ability to keep calm under pressure and deliver excellentcustomer service decisions.
