Univar Specialty Consumables is offering an excellent opportunity for a Product Coordinator to continue to develop a commercial career within product management.

Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager you will take on responsibility for the Transportation strategic supplier base, working proactively with existing and new suppliers to develop and maintain a strong product portfolio whilst managing costs to maximise profit.

This is a great opportunity to develop further into commercial activities with a view to future progression.

Key Responsibilities:
+ Support Sales & Commercial with pricing and system data
+ Maintain and grow our business relationships with key, strategic suppliers.
+ Negotiating with suppliers to maximise sales and margins
+ Working with sales teams to proactively grow profitable sales
+ Liaising with Stock, Operations and Customer Service teams
+ Advising sales teams of best product choice to maximise sales growth
+ Respond to sales and other departmental enquiries in order to enhance sales growth and maintain customer satisfaction
+ Support the S&PM team with price queries and new enquiries

About you:
+ Exceptional organisational skills
+ Numerically competent and confident
+ Commercial and cost analysis experience is desirable
+ Eager to learn and develop
+ Commercially minded with an interest in project management
+ There may be a need to occasionally travel to see suppliers/customers so you will need to be comfortable travelling and meeting new contacts
+ You should be proactive in your approach, an excellent communicator with good persuading and influencing skills in order to robustly negotiate with suppliers
+ An interest in understanding the supplier, product and customer base and the key business drivers
