A well established and successful family business of over 23 years seeks an Sales & Operations Support Coordinator.

Founded in 1998, Ascendit Lifts is a family business that has steadily grown to become one of the largest independent suppliers and installers of domestic lifts in the country. We are specialists in the installation and maintenance of: stairlifts, vertical through-floor lifts, steplifts and ceiling track hoists.

We are looking to recruit a person, ideally with good customer care and administration experience to work within our busy Sales and Operations Support teams.

Working 08.30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday at our offices in Horley Surrey.

We wish to find candidates with solid experience of working within the customer service industry, with a good understanding of administrative processes & the reason for them, coupled with a great customer focussed attitude, strongand speedyIT skills and the desire to learn.

Personal Attributes We Are Ideally Looking For Are
  • Strong and fast administrative skills, with a good understanding of Windows and Microsoft products, CRM software etc..
  • Good geographical knowledge of the south-east of England, comfortable using Google Maps.
  • Positive person with a can do attitude, as everyone around you will either be an external or internal customer.
  • Confidence and an engaging telephone manner, and empathetic style of communication..
  • A good understanding of customer care with a proven track record of customer service within any industry.
  • A proficient problem solver with the desire to deliver results.
  • To have the ability to quickly learn new systems and procedures.
Duties will begin within the Sales support Team and will include (but are not exclusive to):
  • To liaise with Occupational Therapists and Care Agencies and private customers to arrange feasibility appointments,
  • Sales appointments and diary management,
  • To prepare and complete accurate quotations and risk assessment documents,
  • Following a shared rota, throughout the day, reviewing, linking and processing incoming emails taking follow-up action as required. All incoming emails to be dealt with on the day of receipt.
  • To provide detailed product information in response to telephone, postal and email/web enquiries.
  • To provide general support to the Sales Surveyors whilst they are out in the field,
  • Process the order in the Protean system and pass it over to the Order Processing Team,
  • To deal with general incoming telephone enquiries in a manner befitting the Company
  • To maintain a professional, polite and friendly standard,

At a later stage, it is expected that the successful candidate will receive on-going training within the Operations Team to enable them to provide support across the office administration function.
