One Sure Insurance are one of the UK’s fastest growing independently owned Insurance Brokers. We are purely based in the UK with our Head Office located in Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire and 5 other sites across the UK, including the Midlands, the South, and Wales.

Due to our ongoing growth and expansion, we are now looking to recruit Sales Manager who will be responsible for leading One Sure Sales Team.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday & every other Saturday. (Full time-38.33 hours)

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

  • To achieve company targets through the activities of your Sales Team
  • To provide support to the Head of New Business that all business transacted falls in line with the company’s standards and requirements
  • To ensure that all business being conducted is in full compliance with all regulations and any other legislation that may be relevant to the insurance industry, as well as any professional standards and business practices
  • To keep the legal and ethical integrity of One Sure intact through policy enforcement and by ensuring compliance with the rules and regulations that are to be upheld
  • To motivate and advise team members to improve performance
  • To support the company’s growth targets and standards by leading from the front

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

  • Proven history of similar insurance experience to that of this role’s requirements
  • An understanding of how One Sure Insurance operates across all departments
  • Proven management skills including monitoring productivity, performance management and achieving success through a team
  • Strong leadership, coaching and mentoring skills including training and motivating teams
  • Ability to demonstrate a detailed understanding of customer service awareness, including TCF, FCA guidelines
  • Experience and thorough knowledge of various insurance products relevant to the role
  • Experience of target achievement
  • Thorough understanding of in-house systems
  • An understanding of underwriting terms and conditions

BEHAVIOURAL SKILLS

  • Always act in an honest and open manner with both the customer, staff, insurers, and the company in all matters
  • Have a customer focused approach and ensure this ethos is carried through to staff members

ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To conduct monthly KPI sessions with individual staff members to deliver clear targets and reviews
  • To achieve set targets as an individual and as a team.
  • Ability to prioritise own workload as well as that of others, to work on own initiative and to identify improvements on an on-going basis
  • Be able to demonstrate the ability to identify information required to make appropriate and effective decisions under pressure
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • To review target achievements daily of staff members and provide feedback where necessary
  • To provide training & development to staff members within the team and to promote self-teaching/learning
  • To support HR and the Head of New Business with related HR tasks such as recruitment, performance management and development.
  • To liaise with the Head of New Business in delivering feedback at regular intervals and to discuss target achievements or concerns
  • To take responsibility for regulation requirements such as GDPR within the team
  • To demonstrate compliance across the team
  • To comply with all regulations as set out by the FCA
  • To manage call queues and provide regular feedback and updates.
  • To identify potential business change to progress the sales department overall
  • To offer support to all One Sure locations as/when required.

Please note, this role is office based in Stoke-on-Trent with occasional travel needed to our other office locations. Company vehicle will be available for these occasions.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Driving license
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Insurance sector experience (Minimum 1 year)
  • Sales manager experience (Minimum 1 year)
