Are you an experienced Sales Manager who would relish growing an established service offering within an industry you know well?

We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Manager to join our team!

The role is suited to a highly motivated sales professional, who would enjoy representing our exciting and very successful portfolio of services. We are offering a competitive base salary and commission structure, along with a great opportunity to work with an amazing and supportive team. Holding both UK and EASA approvals with a large number of Form4 holders and a well established CAMO capability this role provides an ideal opportunity for sales professionals who understand the Lessor, Commercial Aviation, Business Aviation and Military markets for airworthiness services.

As a sales professional, you will need to be highly intuitive, demonstrating the ability to engage well with current and potential clients, adapting your style where needed. You will need to have an understanding of the service sales lifecycle and the relevant stages required to provide best practice solutions in the areas of Continuing Airworthiness Management and connected aviation services.

/More about the role:

As a Sales Manager you will be identifying our customer needs, by understanding their business, the challenges they are facing and how our products can provide solutions.

You will be provided with leads originating from marketing campaigns, along with identifying and generating your own leads using available tools such as Linkedin, industry data and Google. You will also be working with senior resources who can explain our capabilities to prospects and assist in contract negotiations.

Our Sales and Marketing team work very closely together, to ensure campaigns are optimized and you have the tools and collateral needed to convert deals./

/ Primary Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Accountability for generating agreed levels of Monthly Reocurring Revenue (MRR) and utilisation of our aviation projects team
  • Build customer relationships, acting as a trusted consultant and advisor to the customer, whilst identifying and nurturing new opportunities
  • Understand and assess customers business objectives, strategies, and requirements
  • Broker, build and maintain relationships between Gama Aviation/FlyerTech brands and their customer base and addressable markets
  • Winning business under our UK and EASA approvals, always ensuring the voice of customer is represented back to the business
  • Updating and managing deals, sales pipeline and customer communications using our CRM system, HubSpot
  • Analyse and improve communication mechanisms, both internally and externally
  • Work closely with various internal teams such as Marketing, Head of Aviation Projects, Head of Aviation Delivery, Head of Part-M services, Head of Maintenance Management & Advisory Services, Accounts and Finance to ensure the smooth go-live and account set up of services sold
  • Production of service agreements, using required framework agreements & contract templates
  • Ensure that contracts are accurate, commercially viable and follow the correct approval mechanisms
  • Represent the Gama Aviation and FlyerTech brand at all times, ensuring products and features are described accurately to our customers
  • Attending agreed events, including overseas events

Skills, Qualifications and Experience required:

Essential:

  • Experience performing CAMO services and aviation project sales within the Commercial Aviation, Business Aviation and Lessor markets.
  • Developing the deal pipeline from significant lead generation activities performed by our marketing team, who you will work closely with.
  • Experience managing a portfolio of clients with differing sales cycles and scale.
  • Confident and able to communicate with technical and non-technical colleagues.
  • Able to demonstrate familiarity with legal terminology and in particular the execution of SaaS agreements.
  • Ability to determine and define complex customer requirements, identifying and expanding on opportunities.
  • Accurate reporting with a focus on ensuring our CRM system is always up to date with the latest information.

Advantageous:

  • Knowledge of SPIN selling.
  • Knowledge of the Hubspot CRM system.
  • Experience with deal sizes in excess of $500k TCV.

/ Location

The role offers a choice between full remote, hybrid or 100% office-based working from our Farnborough, Burgess Hill or Warsaw offices. We can employ the right candidate in the UK or Poland.
