The Client:

Our client is one of the leading logistics and transportation companies in the UK and Europe. They are committed to providing top-tier freight services, including Express and standard road transport across the UK and Europe, and worldwide Air and Sea freight solutions.

The Role:

They are seeking an accomplished sales professional ready to excel in promoting both sea and road freight services from day one. You will play a pivotal role in expanding our client’s business across the UK and Europe.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively canvassing and promoting their freight services throughout the UK.
  • Offering a comprehensive range of services, including Express, Standard road transport, Air, and Sea freight solutions.
  • Identifying and pursuing sales leads through cold calls and networking.
  • Establishing and nurturing strong customer relationships through meetings and identifying business opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in roles such as Business Development Manager, Sales Manager, Account Manager, Business Development Executive, Sales Executive, Sales Advisor, Sales Consultant, or similar positions.
  • Must have Freight Sales experience
  • A strong sales drive, coupled with dedication to achieving targets.
  • Confidence in challenging situations to drive business growth.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with clients effectively.
  • A self-motivated and professional team player with an organised work approach.
