We are an independent and locally run agency, with close links to the local Cornish community.

Our LETTINGS OFFICE is based on Commercial Road, Penryn and our SALES OFFICE is based in Falmouth. We let, manage and sell properties all over Cornwall.

We’re looking for individuals who are willing and able to meet with potential clients and help them to sell, let or buy their homes. The ideal candidates will have a proved record in sales and experience in great customer service, (real estate / lettings experience a bonus but not essential) and have strong powers of communication. We want applicants who are passionate about helping people on their property journey.

We are seeking a high performing Sales/Lettings negotiator to join our successful team at Lang Llewellyn & Co in Penryn/Falmouth, Cornwall as part of a modern, innovative company. We seek someone with the ability to perform at a consistently high level through the application of talent and hard work, impress every customer and make their dreams come true!

Your responsibilities include (but not limited to) enquiry registration, maintaining regular contact with applicants, landlords and vendors, generating and conducting viewings whilst securing applications & offers to achieve individual, team & company targets each month.

You must be positive, tenacious, persuasive and competitive whilst being skilled in communication, selling, time management and being a team player.

Experience of the Sales & Lettings environment will be an advantage but is not essential.

The ROLE of a Negotiator:

  • Achieve individual, team & company monthly targets
  • We generate a HUGE amount of leads but these need to be followed up daily
  • ​Register new enquiries and keep in touch to nurture
  • ​Impress every customer every time
  • ​Identify NEW opportunities
  • Join us in our team marketing adventures
  • ​Conduct viewings at properties
  • Generate viewings to daily targets, and nurture to applications
  • ​​Phone out new instructions to secure appointments to view
  • ​Work to time, within schedule and be on time
  • ​Raise negotiations with landlords and vendors when presenting applications and feedback
  • ​Negotiate where necessary on our clients behalf
  • ​Work with Buyers & Tenants until move in completed
  • Networking with the local and property network
  • Positive social media presence
  • Study towards Residential Lettings & Property Management Level 3 or Sales Equivalent

Requirements:

  • You have at least 1 years Customer Service Experience
  • ​You LOVE to build relationships
  • ​You enjoy the thrill of being part of a successful TEAM

  • You have an eye for matching what a customer wants with the ideal solution
  • You actively in your own time seek to learn

  • ​You have a Driving Licence and are a car owner (Full reimbursement and expenses paid)

Experience/Results in:

  • Generating Sales, asking for business or winning contracts
  • Estate Agency or Lettings Experience NOT essential, just GREAT character
  • ​You will be able to demonstrate consistent results in your previous work
  • Able to demonstrate GREAT customer engagement & nurturing
  • ​​Demonstrate a hunger for learning and progression

Earnings - Basic plus commission, bonuses & expenses OTE £30,000 - £40,000+
