We are currently recruiting for a Sales Ledger Controller for a company based in Oldbury, B69 .

Main Responsibilities For The Sales Ledger Controller Role
  • Raise invoices via ERP Software and send or upload to customer portals on a timely basis
  • Managing aged debt/Credit control and prompting customers for overdue payments.
  • Resolving client queries
  • Liaise with customers to ensure their requirements and deadlines are met
  • Reconcile Cashbook and bank daily
  • Allocation receipts and reconciling remittances
  • Managing and sending Customer statements
  • Run month end tasks including month end reporting
  • Escalating overdue invoices to account managers
  • Run credit checks and process new customer set up forms
In order to be successful in the Sales Ledger Control role you will have to be:
  • Have considerable experience within sales ledger and credit control roles.
  • Used computerised accounting software such as ERP packages and client portals.
  • Be comfortable using Excel, as spreadsheets are used a lot throughout this role.
  • Have strong written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Good at building working relationships internally & externally
  • Knowledge or exposure to VAT would also be advantageous.
Working hours for the Sales Ledger Controller role:Monday-Friday 8.30am-5pm
