The company

Eterna Lighting is a long-established, profitable, family-owned business, supplying domestic & commercial lighting to the UK electrical market via distributors.

The role

The role will be to proactively manage, grow and develop a portfolio of existing customers (B2B). There will also be a need to help support customer services in peak months, with sales order processing, inbound calls alongside assisting to manage the customer service inbox containing queries and product issues where required.

Description

  • Using an agreed call cycle, ensure that all customers within your portfolio are proactively contacted, relationships are developed and customer information is maintained accurately on our systems
  • Daily meaningful calls to existing customers to understand position, market share and increase profit/revenue
  • Participate and actively drive regular targeted sales campaigns to drive profit improvements, surpass targets and grow customer transactions
  • Monitor and follow up success of such campaigns on NAV ensuring full notes and comments discussed against each customer are logged.
  • Use NAV to understand customer trend
  • Use NAV to identify downtrading customers within a portfolio and proactively regain lost business

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Have a natural influencing and negotiating flair
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A self-motivated, focused individual, ideally with experience in a sales/outbound calling environment
  • Good level of computer literacy (Excel/Word/Outlook)
  • Attention to detail
  • Microsoft NAV experience would be advantageous.
  • Willingness to learn with the drive to go the extra mile
