Job Title: Sales ExecutiveLocation: BasingstokeSalary: £23,100 + car + bonus – OTE £56,100 + Guarantee for 3 monthsEmployment Type: Full-Time, Permanent (Regular weekend work required)Our client, a reputable automotive retailer representing prestigious car Brands, is seeking a Sales Executive to join their team. With a network of 30 businesses providing sales, service, and accident repair services, offering a dynamic and rewarding work environment.Job PurposeSell the manufacturer’s range of new and used car products, meeting agreed sales volumes.Key Responsibilities
  • Follow the manufacturer’s sales process diligently, achieving enquiry management targets.
  • Apply knowledge of manufacturer mystery shopping criteria to enhance customer interactions.
  • Ensure the showroom, displays, customer information, sales activities, and vehicle documentation are accurately and comprehensively maintained to meet manufacturer standards.
  • Actively prospect for new and used car customers through various sources, maintaining regular contact with both new and existing customers to foster long-term relationships.
  • Maximise sales opportunities by offering finance solutions to customers while adhering to FCA guidelines.
  • Manage the preparation and handover of sold vehicles, ensuring customers receive comprehensive briefings on vehicle operation and introducing them to the aftersales department.
  • Participate in planning sales campaigns and promotions to maximize sales penetration, actively engaging in on and off-site department promotions.
  • Conduct accurate appraisals of vehicles offered for part exchange.
Requirements
  • Previous experience delivering excellent customer service in a customer-facing environment, preferably within the automotive industry.
  • Strong communication skills to engage with customers effectively.
  • Motivated by targets, with a drive to exceed them.
  • Influencing and negotiation skills, with the ability to identify and close sales.
  • Possess a full UK driving license.
