Passcomm is looking for a Sales Engineer to join the team at our Warrington, Cheshire offices in the UK.

The Sales Engineer role within Passcomm is a customer-focused role, driving sales growth for Passcomm. Working closely with the Sales Director, Account Managers and Customer Services.

You’ll have a wealth of technical and commercial support experience to ensure you can manage your customer relationships as effectively and efficiently as possible. A good technical background / understanding is a must for this role.

Candidate needs to be based in the Passcomm Warrington offices, with plenty of opportunity to visit customers.

Job description

  • Managing on-going relationships at existing customers
  • Responsible for targeting new customers with Fibre to the Home (FTTH) Account Manager and formulating business development plans
  • Overall responsibility for product pricelists, working closely with Customer Services, ensuring clear and up-to-date pricing is communicated
  • To assist with building customer quotes with Customer Services
  • To manage supplier and customer samples
  • Setting-up new customers on internal systems
  • Offering pre and post sales support to customers
  • To take full ownership of customer roadshows
  • Responsible for on-site product appreciation with customers
  • Support the Marketing team with Exhibitions
  • Work with Engineering and Account Managers on tender responses
  • Work with key supplier Field Application Engineers to introduce new products to our customers

Profile

  • The ability and be able to demonstrate working towards KPI’s and targets
  • Excellent organisation skills – Managing calendars, email etc
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Fact-finding skills to accommodate client’s needs
  • The ability to diagnose and sell the correct solution from our product portfolio
  • Confident, articulate and engaging telephone manner with exceptional customer service skills
  • A professional manner, with strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
  • Fibre Telecoms industry experience is sought for this role
